Morella is another one of the Spanish gems that you find just off the regular tourist trail. A wonderful example of a walled hilltop town with walls in wonderful condition, magnificent gates and peeked by a fortress with some superb views of the surrounding countryside. The town itself is delightful with covered streets and restaurants and cafe's for all tastes and budgets. Morella is an ideal destination for a day out from the coastal resorts, a centre from which to explore the local area or a long weekend (but you will need to hire a car to get there).
