We just love Concarneau on the coast - a fishing village with a walled town which is full of restaurants, and gift shops. A fantastic place to lunch and shop, the town also often has free live music to entertain you. You must try the local cakes Breton Gateau and Kounig Amman - buttery and sweet. Spend a few hours in this favourite place of mine....walk on top of the walls and eat moules and chips for lunch with some 'cidre'... Absolute bliss.
